Danielle Celestino is from Arcadia, CA and a recent graduate from the Whittier College Graduate program in Education where she received both a Master’s in Education and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. As an undergraduate she attended UC Berkeley where she majored in Dance and Performance Studies and minored in Education. In the next few years she plans to pursue a career in teaching and education. Danielle first started dancing in middle school in talent shows and the Foothill’s Drill Team. During this time she started taking a few dances classes in jazz. In high school she was a part of the Orchesis Dance Company at Arcadia High School, which further sparked her passion for dance and the joy of being a part of a dance family. Danielle continued dancing throughout college through both the school’s dance department and dance clubs on campus, exploring different dance styles such as hip hop, contemporary, and modern. Danielle dances because it is something that makes her happy, when nothing seems right or everything seems bad, she can turn to dance as an outlet.
