Harmony Cruz, Director

Harmony is currently working administratively for Arcadia High School, and has her B.A. in Communication Studies from Cal State Long Beach. She began dancing as a part of AHS Chanteurs Show Choir, then continued to college to dance, choreograph, and serve as a coordinator for PAC Modern (a competitive collegiate dance troupe that trained her in various hip hop and modern styles). Other credits include: Movement Project, PAC Generations, Opposite Chemistry, and LB Pilipino Cultural Night. Harmony also loves to teach dance; she is the hip hop instructor at Ballet Kukan Academy in Monrovia, a choreographer for Harvest Youth Ministry's Dance Team in Temple City and for the Aztec Singers of Mark Keppel High School. She is enjoying her 3rd season with Evoke and loves expanding her knowledge in other dance styles, pushing her comfort zones, performing, and most of all, doing good for the community. Harmony would like to thank God, her closest friends and family, co-directors Jeniffer & Justine, and Stephen for being her biggest supporters. And through tough rehearsals and personal doubts, she is reminded daily to dance and "Do everything in love." 1 Corinthians 16:14
